Do I need Apple Intelligence?
No, Stitchi works without Apple Intelligence too. However, the app will use fallback methods like OCR and template matching instead – these are slower and not as precise as our AI-powered detection. For the best results, we recommend a device with Apple Intelligence (iPhone 15 Pro or newer, iPad with M-chip).
Are my screenshots uploaded anywhere?
No, never. Stitchi processes all your images exclusively on your device. No data is sent to servers or the cloud – not even for AI analysis. Your screenshots stay private and never leave your iPhone or iPad.
How many screenshots can I stitch together?
You can stitch up to 20 screenshots in one go. Keep in mind: the more screenshots you add, the longer the analysis and processing will take. For optimal performance, we recommend working with 5-10 screenshots at a time.
What's the difference between Free and Pro?
The free version includes 5 exports. With Stitchi Pro, you get unlimited exports, batch export for multiple stitches at once, and you support the continued development of the app. Pro is a one-time purchase – no subscription, no hidden costs.
Which devices is Stitchi compatible with?
Stitchi runs on all iPhones and iPads with iOS/iPadOS 18.0 or later. The Apple Intelligence features for the best overlap detection require iOS 18.1+ and a compatible device (iPhone 15 Pro/Pro Max, iPhone 16 series, or iPad with M-chip).
Does Stitchi work offline?
Yes, Stitchi works completely offline. Since all processing happens locally on your device, you don't need an internet connection – neither for analysis nor for exporting your stitched screenshots.
What if the overlap isn't detected correctly?
No problem! Stitchi offers a manual fine-tuning mode with two independent cut lines. This lets you adjust the transitions pixel-perfectly if the automatic detection isn't spot-on.
What formats can I export in?
You can export your stitched screenshots as PNG (lossless, best quality) or JPEG (smaller file size). The quality level for JPEG can be adjusted in the settings.
Can I start Stitchi directly from the Photos app?
Yes! Stitchi has a Share Extension. Simply select your screenshots in the Photos app, tap 'Share' and choose Stitchi – you can start right away without opening the app first.
